Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving is an easy, tax-effective way to give, so it costs you less to give more. Payroll donations are great for the good causes you care about, providing charities with a regular, reliable income stream that enables them to plan and budget for the future.

It is very easy for companies to implement, only involving a few minutes of work each month with regular donations allowing  Momentum to budget for the future. Here are some facts about payroll giving:

Payroll Giving is a scheme that enables employees to give to any UK charity straight from their gross salary (before tax is deducted), and to receive immediate tax relief of up to £4 for every £10 donated, e.g. a £10 monthly donation only costs you £8 at 20% income tax or just £6 at the higher rate.

Quick and easy to set-up and administer, Payroll Giving is a great way for you to demonstrate commitment to the causes you care about. It also generates a sustainable income stream for Momentum.

As part of Big Hearted Scotland, Momentum recieves payroll giving through donations made to Big Hearted Scotland.
